Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ! Valley Stream Presbyterian Church (VSPC) strives to embody what the book of Acts teaches about the church.
Acts is a testament to the works of the apostles after the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This book can be used as a blueprint for a successful church.
Luke writes in Acts 2:42 that the new believers “devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and prayers” (NRSV).
We at VSPC strive to follow these practices in our daily lives and in our church. The end of Luke’s passage in Acts also says that “day by day the Lord added to their number.” We have welcomed several new members to the church family but know we are not done growing. God needs many, many members to do God’s work. Now we extend a personal invitation to you. If you are looking for a welcoming place to worship, filled with friendly and loving people, please join us. We hope to see you soon!
